Horses represent one of the two main species painted on cave walls, Bison being the other. The styles, stances and techniques to depict them are as abundant as the caves we find them in. Not many horse bones have been found where we lived and fed. The people from Ekain cave, for example, fed mainly on goat and ibex. However, almost all they painted was Horses. These creatures mystified mankind long before we established the special bond that helped us raise civilization.
